AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TAE KWON DO

(AITKD) was established in April 1991 in Monroe, Connecticut. Over the course of 17 years, AITKD has promoted over 140 Black Belts some of these students began as Little Dragons (4-6 year old) and continued to train today. Other Black Belts promoted are mothers, fathers, and seniors (aged 64). The youngest student promoted to Black Belt at AITKD was 8 years old and that student began training at 3 1/2. We are a Black Belt school and we believe anyone can train to become a Black Belt with commitment, discipline, and dedication.
